In order to add momentum to the growth of the Ellianos Franchise, Ellianos Coffee Company has hired a new President, Mick Rynning, who will be responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational execution of Ellianos business operation, including franchise business development and franchisee recruiting.
Mr. Rynning has over 20 years franchise experience across several companies, including Church’s Chicken, AFC Enterprises, Inc., Seattle’s Best Coffee, Cinnabon, Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits, OneSource Franchise Systems, and Tower Cleaning Franchise System.
“I was quite impressed with both their vision for the future and the genuine integrity of everyone at Ellianos,” says Mr. Rynning of why he chose to accept the position of President for the upcoming coffee franchise. “Most impressive of all is their sincere belief in people and that the company’s success is tied directly to the success of their franchisees.”
Mr. Rynning’s immediate goal is to grow the Ellianos brand throughout the region. To accomplish a broader regional presence, new initiatives at Ellianos are underway such as a modest menu expansion, the addition of new store venues (including food court and in-line units), as well as broader franchise opportunities with new area development and master franchise development programs. Eventually, Mr. Rynning envisions an international presence, but says those efforts are farther down the road.
Mick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Oklahoma City University, and is a graduate of the Management 2000 franchise business training program.
As an added bonus, Ellianos has also hired Mr. Rynning’s wife, Jessica Rynning, to take over administration duties. In her new role, Mrs. Rynning will be responsible for franchise administration, trademarks, copyrights and patents, and have overall direct responsibility for administrative systems and processes. Mrs. Rynning has extensive experience in her areas of expertise with Church’s Chicken, AFC Enterprises, and OneSource Franchise Systems.
Mr. and Mrs. Rynning recently relocated to Lake City, Florida from Atlanta, Georgia, where Mr. Rynning was the Director of International Business Development for Church’s Chicken and Mrs. Rynning was a contract consultant in the areas of trademarks, franchise administration, and franchise audits.
“We are extremely excited to have Mick and Jessica join our team, and we are looking forward to a very prosperous new year with them on the team,” commented Ellianos’ founder Scott Stewart.
