Fête, a social and event stationary design company, will launch several new wedding invitation designs being added to their current tailored wedding stationery line, To Have and To Hold. The launch will take place at A Wedding Soirée, complete with cocktails and ambiance at the San Jose Museum of Art on March 22, 2007. Engaged couples and San Francisco Bay’s finest wedding professionals will meet and chat. Fête and Details of Merriment will host the event. More information about A Wedding Soirée can be found at A Wedding Soirée's website.
Today’s discerning couples want a wedding day they and their guests will remember. Fête understands that the first detail guests will see is the invitation. It should make a statement about the couple’s style and the tone of the wedding. Fête takes pride in creating unique, modern, and tailored stationary for all special events.
Fête’s invitations and announcements are a very modern break from traditional stationary. Some of the designs include the Obi, an imported Japanese hand silk-screened paper wrapped around a flat card and the Etoile collection, which is dotted with crystals between the names of the bride and groom. Stylish and modern, these invitations break the old traditions of wedding planning and announcements. Each order is made-to order. Fête does not stock items and every order is hand-assembled. Price points are $9 to $29 a set, which covers letterpress and offset printing.
Fête offers two lines. The To Have and to Hold line is a line that is tailored to the needs of the client. A small amount of a certain style is created and then, much like a suit or dress is tailored to the needs of the client. Fête does not carry any other companies’ designs. All designs are exclusive to Fête. This is different from the Atelier collection, where all stationary is designed from scratch and a higher price point. The Atelier collection also carries a “Break the Mold” policy, where no design or unique elements will ever be used again in another Fête design.
