TreasureCom Zeta Mu, a company operating out of Georgia, today announced that it has entered into partnership with industry leader, TIEMAC Corporation (TIEMAC), to bring to market an Internet of Things (IoT) Smart Mobile Outdoor Billboard Advertising platform to disrupt the outdoor billboard advertising space. The Company’s solution includes a CAN-Bus 2.0 J1939 Connected Vehicle Device Windows Azure cloud based system supplied by TIEMAC. Its smart advertising campaigns are built using 4G LTE connection from the connected vehicle device to Microsoft Azure cloud and runs on Verizon and AT&T 4G LTE networks.
The IoT mobile outdoor billboard smart advertising idea is the brain child of the company’s founder, Michael Treasure, who also founded TIEMAC. TIEMAC’s IoT connected device, intelligent, machine learning and advanced telematics business intelligent solution was brought to market based off the catalyst of the Federal Government’s recent mandate that all commercial trucks must be outfitted with Electronic Onboard Recorder (EOBR) technology as part of the highway funding bill. The device that TIEMAC supplies with its solution is a high end connected computer that uses the latest Intel mobile chipset with a 64 bit Windows 8.1 Embedded Enterprise OS. This high end computer coupled with TIEMAC’s cloud centric solution provides a compelling platform for value added services and TreasureCom Zeta Mu is leveraging this opportunity to bring smart mobile outdoor bill board advertising to the Over the Road (OTR) commercial trucking space.
TreasureCom Zeta Mu’s Smart Mobile Outdoor Billboard Advertising Platform (SMOBAP) provides advertisers with an opportunity to run an “Intelligent Ad” campaign with an inventory of up to 50 different one to five minutes dynamic graphical ad and or video ad clips. SMOBAP provides guaranteed placement of two sided ads on multiple OTR trucks simultaneously. TreasureCom Zeta Mu is not selling its SMOBAP technology to other trucking companies. Rather, TreasureCom Zeta Mu is operating its SMOBAP technology on its own fleet of OTR commercial trucks as a green advertising business. TreasureCom Zeta Mu’s chief operating officer states “we are not going to have trucks just driving around states, cities and towns for mere advertising purpose. Rather, our trucks will be carrying over the road full truck load cargo just like any other over the road commercial trucks. Trucks will be scheduled for dispatch and delivery of customer loads across the country. We will then overlay our smart advertising IoT platform to run ads”. Michael Treasure added “Because we will be running smart ads we will not be running unduly distractive ads, rather our ads will be run smartly, displayed appropriately, depending on speed of truck, where the truck is at any given time, duration the truck is in break mode, etc.
