ForeScout Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of pervasive network security solutions for Global 2000 enterprises and government organizations, today announced that CipherTechs, a privately held information security services provider, will offer a new suite of managed network security services to its customers enabled by ForeScout’s CounterACT™ solution. This offering will provide CipherTechs customers dynamic network and endpoint intelligence, context-based access controls and policy-based mitigation of violations and threats.
According to the IDG Connect 2014 Cyber Defense Maturity Report, one in six organizations had five or more significant security incidents, and 96 percent experienced at least one in the past year. More so, over 61 percent cited low to no confidence on network device intelligence, maintaining configuration standards and defenses on devices, and ensuring virtual machines and remote devices adhere to policy. Increased demand to use personal mobile devices in the workplace (BYOD) and have easy access to IT resources and sensitive data makes it more critical for IT to implement the security policies that effectively protect networks while preserving user experience.
Network complexity, exposure diversity and threat velocity are challenging security operations. The ForeScout CounterACT platform enables companies to gain real-time visibility, control and response over users, devices, systems and applications attempting to access or on their networks.
