Salmon Press Media announced that it is expanding the coverage area of the monthly MountainEar Magazine to include the towns in the North Country of New Hampshire.

MountainEar Magazine debuted in September 2013 and replaced a weekly newspaper version of the publication. The magazine is a comprehensive guide to shopping, living and leisure in the Mount Washington Valley and is available free at hundreds of locations throughout New Hampshire and Maine, as well as online.

Company president and publisher Frank Chilinski is enthusiastic about the magazine’s growth. “Our advertisers will gain an even wider coverage area and readership for the same price. The expansion into the North Country will make an already excellent publication even better and more appealing to readers,” said Chilinski.

Chilinski says the expansion is in response to both reader and advertiser requests. “They love the MountainEar’s features and coverage and wanted us to expand into the North Country, so we’re listening to those requests,” Chilinski said. “Our distribution will remain the same in the Valley and we’ll have additional copies printed and circulating in the North Country.”
