V1 Ltd, a business automation software specialist, has scooped a Green Apple Award in the Science & Technology category for its learning and training management solution (LTM). This is the 12th consecutive year that V1 has won a Green Apple Award.
The company was recognised for the way V1 LTM provides a greener and more cost effective way of managing training and learning through the online delivery of learning and resources.
The Green Apple Awards are run by independent environment group, The Green Organisation, and honours companies that demonstrate environmental best practice. The awards are well established as being one of the most influential environmental award schemes worldwide. V1 will receive its award at a ceremony at the House of Parliament in London on 10 November 2014.
V1 LTM (wearev1.com) enables organisations to drastically reduce their paper consumption as all course materials, from enrolment through to certification, are available online for delegates to download through a ‘self-serve’ system. This negates the need to print out, photocopy, post and manually file documents.
