The Central Sarasota Farmer's Market (CSFM) has launched an online educational series called “Talking With Your Mouth Full.” The audio series features interviews with community leaders on topics relating to food, farming and farmer's markets.

In the first episode,"What is Organic Food?," CSFM co-founder Todd Underhill discusses and demystifies organic food certification. The conversation covers a range of topics, including the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) definition of certified organic food and organic practices, and use of pesticides and herbicides. It also touches on more general topics that include community involvement in the local food economy.

An eighth generation Floridian and a leader in the agricultural industry, Underhill was raised on a cattle ranch. He is president of Geraldson Community Farm, a 20-acre organic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) venture in Bradenton, Florida, and serves as president of Florida West Coast Resource Conservation and Development. He is an elected official on the Sarasota Soil and Water Conservation District and is a past president of the Association of Florida Conservation Districts. He has served on advisory committees for the National Association of Conservation Districts and on a special committee advising the Chief of the USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), regarding conservation delivery. Underhill is currently serving as the chair of the Sarasota Agricultural Council, an organization he helped organize, and serves on the board of directors of the Sarasota County Farm Bureau.

The Central Sarasota Farmer’s Market meets every Saturday from 8 am. till 1 pm. in the parking lot of the Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI), 4748 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL 34233.
