Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR) System Center Atlantic (SSC-LANT) division to provide support and maintenance on Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. This contract bolsters the Company’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) services to the Department of Defense and has a one-year term with a $9 million value.

Serco will provide Field Support Representatives (FSRs) to install, integrate, repair and provide maintenance training on the C4I equipment and systems deployed within the MRAP Family of Vehicles (FoVS). MRAP vehicles are designed to protect U.S. warfighters from Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attacks and ambushes. “Serco is honored to be awarded the opportunity to support this MRAP project,” said Dan Allen, Serco Inc.’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We have an excellent C4ISR division and are proud to apply our expertise and skills to help the U.S. military with their defense technologies.”

This contract will extend Serco’s efforts centering on and enhancing communication systems of MRAP vehicles and ensuring maintenance and operations. The Company will ensure the vehicles are Full Mission Capable and maintain Operationally Ready status.
