ARX (Algorithmic Research), a leading provider of financial services data security solutions, is proud to announce that the PrivateServer HSM and key management solution has been awarded PCI HSM (Payment Card Industry Hardware Security Module) certification. The PCI HSM specification defines a complete set of requirements relating to the reliable deployment of HSMs that support payment transaction processing, card issuing and cardholder authentication techniques.
PrivateServer HSM is the first network-attached, multi-user HSM to meet the stringent standards of the PCI HSM 2.0 specification by incorporating strict security measures to protect the highly sensitive cryptographic keys and the related operations. It is an ideal solution both for financial institutions that must adhere to the PCI standards and for service providers that are required to use PCI-certified HSMs in order to store financial information or provide a related service.
“We’re proud that our products and solution approaches continue to meet the most rigorous security regulations,” explains Ezer Farhi, VP of R&D at ARX. “In doing so, we are able to anticipate our clients’ current and evolving needs by providing them with the most secure and forward-looking solutions in the market.”
