Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, is pleased to announce the arrival of the eBOX660-872-FL-DH, its newest, high-performance, fanless embedded system with choices of socket G2 for Intel® Core™ or Intel® Celeron® processor. This rugged embedded controller has excellent cooling and thermal design, with a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. Axiomtek develops the new eBOX660-872-FL-DH with versatility and flexibility in mind and offers an additional internal SATA HDD, four USB ports as well as extra audio port to fulfill the varying needs of embedded applications. The eBOX660-872-FL-DH is remarkably feature-rich. It supports dual 2.5” HDD drive bays, eight USB ports, four COM ports, dual PCIe mini card, two SIM slots and isolated DIO ports for applications requiring high computing performance and expansion capability. It also supports VGA and DisplayPort for dual-view display. This application-ready, ultra slim embedded system is suitable for automatic optical inspection, digital signage, digital surveillance, gaming, automation control, POS/Kiosk and more.

To address demand for rich network and wireless connection (Wi-Fi or 3G/GPRS), the eBOX660-872-FL-DH is available with two PCI Express Mini Card slots and two SIM card sockets. Eight isolated DI/DO allows for sensor or camera connection for remote environment control and security management. This extremely compact embedded system supports two 204-pin DDR3-1066/1333 SO-DIMM banks with maximum system memory up to 16 GB. It also features a swappable 2.5” SATA HDD drive bay and an internal 2.5” SATA HDD drive bay as well as one CFastTM socket for solid state disk system. The IP40-rated rugged aluminum cold-rolled steel enclosure possesses anti-vibration advantage, which protects the entire system from vibration up to 3 Grms.
The eBOX660-872-FL-DH’s rich I/O are equipped with flexible multiple ports to assist integrators in developing unique solutions. Other I/O connectors include four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, quad Gigabit Ethernet ports and audio. It also has a wide-range DC input 10V~35VDC power supply to help customers maintain system stability. This high performance robust embedded system is fully compatible with the Windows® Standard Embedded 8/7 and Linux.
