IT monitoring software provider ScienceLogic Inc. has been named to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capability Approved Products List (UC APL). As the first complete end-to-end IT infrastructure monitoring company ever to conform to the DoD’s rigorous security and interoperability standards, government agencies can now purchase and implement ScienceLogic’s IT infrastructure monitoring products on an expedited basis, and dramatically mitigate their their network management challenges.

“We are committed and honored to support the DoD’s Joint Interoperability Environment mission of helping governmental agencies save time and money when acquiring innovative commercial IT software and services” said Dave Link, co-founder and CEO, at ScienceLogic. “Our software provides more architectural flexibility than any other tool in the industry, delivering great set-up and initial configuration value for DoD agencies who deploy our product. We do this by automating the security installation process so that DoD customers deploying our product can stand it up and gain local security accreditation in a few minutes versus the days or weeks of step-by-step manual procedures required by other solutions.”

The purpose of the UC APL is to maintain a single consolidated list of products that have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification. DoD agencies are able to more confidently operate products that have achieved certification providing significant time, standardization, and cost savings to the federal government. The agencies can also gain immediate access to ‘The best NMS on Earth” faster - for increasing IT efficiency, avoiding network outages, and improving overall customer satisfaction. As more and more public sector industries such as Energy, Utilities, Healthcare, and Financial become increasingly aware of Federal Security best practices, this certification extends beyond the DoD as a best in class secure solution that can be relied upon for the most security-sensitive networks in the world.

ScienceLogic’s software (sciencelogic.com) provides fully automated monitoring functions needed to run today’s complex, hybrid IT infrastructures including the monitoring of systems, network, and applications, regardless of where they reside, on-prem or off-prem.
