After receiving the Travelers' Choice Award from TripAdvisor earlier this year, SUNRISE Resorts and Cruises is proudly announcing that SUNRISE Holidays Resort and SENTIDO Oriental Dream Resort (managed by SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises) had received the second award from TripAdvisor - the Certificate of Excellence 2014.
TripAdvisor is granting "Certificate of Excellence" to establishments, which consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, honoring hospitality excellence.
The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence honors select accommodations, attractions, and restaurants that consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence.
To be eligible, a business must maintain an overall rating of four or higher (out of five), as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 month
Approximately 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account reviews ratings. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five. Volume and recency of reviews, as well as a business' tenure and popularity ranking are also factored into the algorithm.
According to a recent PhoCusWright study of more than 12,000 respondents from around the world, TripAdvisor awards help set them apart from their competitors: 65 percent of respondents are more likely to book hotels that receive awards from TripAdvisor.
