The update includes enhancements to the Retail Energy and Cloud Automation functionality of the platform.
The update is part of Buffalo Watt's ongoing commitment to provide meaningful monthly updates to its Converged Energy Platform. The update includes over 50+ updates, features, innovations and enhancements. Buffalo Watt's monthly update schedule quickly delivers new functionality to our customer base with minimal to no downtime per month virtually allowing our customers and devices to operate 24x7x365.
Cloud Automation has added real-time configuration and control utilizing XMPP with Echelon’s iLon SmartServer 2.0. The update allows Buffalo Watt to instantly reconfigure or dispatch control strategies to Echelon iLon SmartServer 2.0 devices deployed in the field. Additionally, the update adds a simplified provisioning process to deploy and commission devices in the field.
Retail Energy was also updated adding the ability for Supplier Dual Bills to be consolidated by portfolio. This enables suppliers to easily generate consolidated portfolio bills for the multi-site customers.
