Each year, the International Summit awards honor best-in-class printed and electronic communications from around the world. Winning products exemplify the talent, creativity, and understanding required to successfully communicate technical, scientific, and business information.

Energetics’ communications specialists, print and web designers, and technical staff produced this year’s three winning publications in partnership with clients at the U.S. Department of Energy (Clean Energy Ministerial, Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability); the U.S. China Clean Energy Research Center (CERC); and GridWise Alliance.

The U.S. China Clean Energy Research Center Annual Report 2012-2013 is the second in a series that Energetics (energetics.com) has developed for CERC a collaborative public-private partnership that facilitates joint research and development of clean energy technologies by teams of U.S. and Chinese scientists and engineers.

Public-Private Roundtables at the Fourth Clean Energy Ministerial summarizes six public-private roundtable discussions held during the Clean Energy Ministerial’s fourth annual meeting of world energy ministers.

Improving Electric Grid Reliability and Resilience: Lessons Learned from Superstorm Sandy and Other Extreme Events explores key challenges in the electricity delivery system. Drawing from input gathered during an industry workshop, Energetics helped GridWise frame the report around well-developed themes.

The three publications previously earned Awards of Excellence in a regional competition hosted by the STC’s Washington, DC, chapter, which qualified them to compete in the International Summit Awards. Energetics publications have received 39 STC awards at the regional and international levels since 2006.
