GSF Mortgage welcomes Brian Reno as Branch Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana. Reno joins GSF Mortgage with 23 years of experience. He is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, which is a certification achieved by less than two percent of all mortgage loan originators.
Reno is a graduate from Indiana University with a degree in finance with an emphasis on economics. With this knowledge, it was an easy transition into the mortgage industry. He has taught continuing education classes to certified financial planners, Realtors, CPAs and insurance professionals.
What sets Reno apart from other mortgage professionals, is he approaches everything from an educational standpoint. When navigating his customers through the process, he also spends time going through the financial impact of homeownership.
“Research and history have proven that the reason people lack this awareness is because of a lack of education. When people change their approach, they may save thousands of dollars over their lifetime, while having more clarity and confidence,” says Reno.
He wants his customers not only to be able to afford a home but to also meet their other financial goals: becoming debt free, sending their kids to college and saving for retirement.
