Betty Moon will celebrate the release of her new music video for “Amourphous” with a private party and performance at The Viper Room in Hollywood, CA, on May 23. “Amourphous” is the latest single from her sixth studio album of the same name.
Moon describes “AMOURPHOUS” as a new musical direction that she hopes to explore further, saying,“though dark and moody, it’s perhaps my happiest record to date.” Moon produced the album, bringing in some of the industry’s most recognized musicians and engineers to make truly world-class recordings. Weaving a tapestry of love vignettes laced with mellifluous harmonies and strings,“Valentine” features film composer Navid Hejazi on violin and was mixed by Grammy Award-winner Chris Lord-Alge (The Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins).
Now residing in Los Angeles, Toronto-born Betty Moon emerged onto the Canadian music scene in 1991 with her self-titled debut on A&M Records. The album featured the singles,"One Kiss," "I Get High," and “Tranquility,” all of which enjoyed regular rotation on national radio. With the subsequent releases of “Stir,” “Doll Machine,” “The Demon Flowers,” and “Rollin’ Revolution,” Moon has established herself as an international recording artist, guitarist, and pianist with a devout following.
