The United Talmudical Academy in Brooklyn is expanding and has recently begun work on a new building on 177 Harrison Street. This building will service 1500 high school students in over 70 classrooms. Andora Systems has been selected as the lead designer and installer for all of the low voltage systems within this new facility.
Andora Systems has completed many low voltage projects in educational settings and that experience proves to be a valuable asset when it comes to understanding the concerns and needs of school administrators. Andora will be responsible for all of the low voltage systems within this facility -- access control, elevator control, alarm system, paging system, IP camera system and all A/V presentation systems.

Keyscan, a leader in the access control industry, is providing the technology for an access system that encompasses 140 entry points. Andora will be utilizing Assa Abloy’s cutting-edge integrated door locks with a built-in reader that is “designed to meet the rigors of high-traffic commercial, institutional, industrial, and government applications.” The CCTV surveillance system will utilize over 200 IP cameras throughout the facility. Presentation systems will be installed within each individual classroom and in all large auditoriums. The audio, video, and projection capabilities will all be easily managed through a Control4 system.
