Radio Continentale Power 102.1FM celebrates its 11th Year anniversary with TV Launch Radio Continentale Lakay TV (RCLTV). Inside the beautiful ambiance of Ole Restaurant and Bar in Atlanta on April 12, 2014, from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.
Radio Continental Power 102.1 FM is teaming up with Mass Star Management for its 11th year anniversary celebrations in Atlanta Georgia. The theme for the celebration is “Remembering the past as we look forward to the future”. The 11th anniversary event will be held inside the beautiful ambience of Ole Restaurant and Bar in Atlanta on April 12, 2014, from 6:00PM to 11:00PM. A key moment of the celebration will be the launching of Radio Continentale’s television arm known as Radio Continentale Lakay Television (RCLTV).
“We want to build a stronger bridge of diversity,” is what Executive Director, Chenet Nerette has said. This is in connection with the radio station’s motto: “The Bridge of Diversity”. For eleven years, Radio Continentale Power 102.1 FM has epitomized this concept in the way it has engaged the community. After a successful decade, Mr. Nerette is confident that by adding television to its strong platform it will definitely help them build that bridge even stronger.
For years, Radio Continentale has covered the length and breadth of the Caribbean community. Bridging the gap of race, language, and a variety of idiosyncrasies as it does so. It has not always been easy. Several speed bumps have been encountered along the way. Living by its motto, Power 102.1 FM Radio Continentale now proudly boasts a wide representation of the Caribbean in its programming. With the addition of key programs in English and by expanding the musical base to include every genre, Radio Continentale Power 102.1 has cemented its base within the Diaspora. It is only fitting that television be their next step.
Radio Continentale Power 102.1 FM is honored to invite you to share this momentous occasion with us on Saturday, April 12th, in Atlanta, Georgia. The mission continues and this celebration while looking at a great decade, will also mark the beginning of an even more important leg of our existence as we continue to inform, engage, and provide that bridge as we continue the work of bridging the gap of diversity worldwide. Your company in the past, as well as for this occasion, and for future endeavors, is truly appreciated.
The occasion will be marked by book signings by award-winning authors: Myrlande Sauveur (“Spiritual Vitamins and Minerals for the Soul”), Wayne Hall (“I’m Dead Now What?”), and Muriam Cinevert, Amazon Best Seller (“I Love Me”). Our cultural event will feature the talented Zouk artist, Malida. There will be dance performances and much more. Specials guests will include: the Honorable Gandy Thomas, the Consul General of Haiti in Atlanta; Mr. Sony Asmath, CEO of Mass Star Management in Boston, Massachusetts. Several dignitaries and public officials form the Atlanta area have also been invited. The keynote address will be delivered by his Excellency, the Honorable Gandy Thomas.
