Leviton today introduced its new USB Charger/Tamper-Resistant Duplex Receptacle offering two high-powered USB Ports with 3.6A of charging power and two 15A or 20A/125V Tamper-Resistant Receptacles. This flagship addition to Leviton’s line of USB Charger Devices has the capability to charge two USB powered electronic devices utilizing its two USB Ports, leaving the two Tamper-Resistant Receptacles free for other uses. The Leviton USB Charger/Tamper-Resistant Duplex Receptacle is designed to charge tablets, smart and mobile phones, gaming devices, e-readers, digital cameras and a host of other electronic devices.
Strategically designed with two vertical USB Ports, the Leviton USB Charger/Tamper-Resistant Duplex Receptacle provides additional space for maneuvering of charging cords. The USB Ports are Type A, 2.0 and incorporate a smart chip which recognizes and optimizes the charging power of the connected device. It is engineered to fit in a standard wallbox, use a standard wallplate and can be multi-ganged with any standard Leviton wiring device.

Featuring the Leviton 15A or 20A/125V Tamper-Resistant Receptacle, this device is 2011 NEC® compliant. The receptacle’s shutter mechanism is designed to block access to the contacts from most foreign objects to improve safety.
This device is the latest addition to the Leviton line of USB Charger Devices which includes a 4-Port USB Charger. All Leviton USB Charger Devices feature a contemporary and aesthetically pleasing design. They are ideal for both residential and commercial applications such as kitchens, bedrooms, home offices, hotels, airports, office cubicles, college dorm rooms and any other location easy access to a USB charging device is desired.
The device is cCSAus listed and comes with a five-year limited product warranty. Available in white, ivory, light almond, gray, black and brown (15A only), the Leviton USB Charger/Tamper-Resistant Duplex Receptacle is compatible with Leviton’s complete line of signature Decora® wiring devices and wallplates, as well as the Leviton Mobile Device Station.
