Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn), saved their clients more than $12 million in 2013. Each specialization of the Fort Myers-based international company contributed to the customer savings as follows: $6.9 million for transportation management, logistics sourcing and supply chain consulting; $4.3 million for tax management; $1.1 million for global trade compliance.
The Allyn logistics team used their expertise to leverage supply chains, carriers and maximize savings opportunities. Almost $3 million in savings was a result of tendering to the most economical carrier and $2 million was due to auditing carrier invoices prior to payment. Negotiating better contracts for Allyn customers resulted in $1.2 million in savings.

In the tax department, savings of $2.4 million were achieved through audits, tax refunds, and overpayment reviews as well as $1.9 million in credit memo processing.
