Awards ceremony to take place at London’s IndigO2
Catering provided by Gaucho
Exclusive aftershow party at Brooklyn Bowl
Friday 24th October, 2014
Recognised as the world’s most popular and credible games awards, the Golden Joysticks celebrate the very best in the gaming industry and are the only annual awards voted for by gamers, garnering a record-breaking ten million votes last year.
Now in its 32nd year, the awards ceremony will move from Westminster’s Park Plaza Hotel, which has been the home of the Joysticks since 2010, to London’s IndigO2, with catering provided by Argentine culture and cuisine restaurant, Gaucho.
The exclusive aftershow party will be held directly afterwards at the Brooklyn Bowl, also in the O2 Arena, complete with live entertainment.
Clair Porteous, Deputy MD of Film & Games at Future, says: “We are extremely excited to be moving this year’s Golden Joystick Awards to the Indig02. As gaming increasingly moves into mainstream popular culture, it makes sense to hold the ceremony at a vibrant, high-tech, entertainment venue. The Indig02 will be a great place to showcase the continuing innovation and diversity that the gaming industry has to offer, the food will be provided by leading restaurant Gaucho and will be topped off in style at an exclusive aftershow party at one of London’s hottest & most sought after party locations, the Brooklyn Bowl. This year’s awards will be bigger, better and bolder than ever before.”
The Golden Joystick Awards will take place on Friday 24th October, 2014.
There are strictly a limited number of tables available, which are expected to sell out once again. To book tables, please contact Nick Weatherall on 020 7042 4155 or nick.weatherall[.]futurenet.com.
