The Foundation for a World in Transition is proud to announce that its serving President Louis-Lyonel Voiron is joining BORDERPOL, a non-profit, non-aligned, international institution founded in 2003 to bring together progressive national border administrations and associated law enforcement services and agencies as well as recognized academic and industry leaders. Sometimes referred to in the press as The World Border Organization, BORDERPOL serves the border security and migration management community worldwide with the purpose of making borders smarter and the world a safer place for all travellers.
In addition to serving as President of the Foundation for a World in Transition, Louis-Lyonel Voiron is Chairman of Voiron Holdings Ltd, a London-based strategic advisory firm specialized in political risks and in government relations for international businesses, and General Secretary of the World Anti-Illicit Traffic Organization (WAITO Corp.), a Washington DC- based, non-governmental, independent, interdisciplinary and evidence-based organization, offering research, educational programs, information, and partnership opportunities designed to assist in fighting against criminal networks, illicit trade, smuggling and new international threats.
