The Board brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in education, data management, technology and business acumen. As members of the Board, each individual will be assisting in providing strategic direction, management and oversight for the affairs of the Association for the United Kingdom.
The 2014 SIF Association UK Management Board includes:

“We are delighted to have such a strong and influential group of educational leaders elected onto the UK Management Board for 2014.” stated Larry Fruth II, Ph.D., CEO/Executive Director, SIF Association. “These education leaders are ideally placed to drive the adoption of open, community developed data standards throughout the education marketplace. With their leadership, I am looking forward to seeing the UK marketplace develop over the coming months with further adoption of real-time, secure data transfer to ensure that our focus remains on the learner and providing ‘the right data, in the right place, at the right time’”.
Also held were elections for the UK Technical Board, who provide the technical oversight for the SIF (United Kingdom) Specifications. The elected 2014 UK Technical Board At-Large seats were:

The SIF Association (sifassociation.org) is a unique, non-profit collaboration composed of over 3,200 schools, districts, local authorities, states, US and International Ministries of Education, software vendors and consultants who collectively define the rules and regulations for educational software data interoperability. The SIF Implementation Specification enables diverse applications to interact and share data efficiently, reliably, and securely regardless of the platform hosting those applications. The SIF Association has united these education technology end users and providers in an unprecedented effort to give teachers more time to do what they do best: teach.
