IBA Group an alliance of IT companies with over 2,700 people, expanded its weather forecast website Meteo.by/en. Three more towns were added to the list of Belarusian cities and towns for which weather forecasts are provided. The new towns are Borisov, Minsk Region; Lida, Grodno Region; and Pinsk, Brest Region.
As the largest software development centers of IBA Group are located in Belarus, the website Meteo.by/en focuses on weather forecasts for this Eastern European country. Visitors can take a quick glance at a dynamic map of Belarus and see summary five-day or ten-day weather forecasts at the home page.
The detailed 10 day weather forecasts include temperature, precipitation, wind, pressure, and humidity both in numbers and in graphs. Diagrams presenting magnetic storms for three days are also available.
The website is intended for people who are planning to travel to Belarus and therefore its pages contain travel guides and tips, hotel directories, and other practical information about the country. The website also features news about sports, including the upcoming IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship to be held in Minsk this year, as well as culture and historic sights.
