Los Angeles, CA, United States, 2014/03/07 - Nominees for the 2nd Annual RealityWanted TV Awards for outstanding performances in 2013 in twenty- four categories were announced Wednesday night in Los Angeles at the Parlor Hollywood.

RealityWanted TV Awards Executive Producers Andrew Ward and Kristen Moss Introduced Matt Iseman (NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior”, Nick Uhas (CBS’s “Big Brother 15”) Scheana Marie (Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules”) Reatha Grey (NBC’s “Off their Rockers”), James and Rebecca Wallington (CW’s “Capture”) Phillip Sheppard, Jerri Manthey, and Abi-Maria Gomes (CBS’s “Survivor”) who all took part in announcing the nominees for this year’s RealityWanted TV Awards.
Awards show producer, John Barra assembled the cast that announced the nominees. Jody Taylor of Sixty5 Media, (the award show’s official PR / Media and Talent Acquisition Firm) was on hand to provide the Live-Tweet broadcast for fans and other reality stars nationwide. Rachel Reilly and Ryan Carrillo of Reality Recap on BiteSize TV covered the event for broadcast as well as TVFishbowl.
The top industry accolades announced have been decided to date by first being submitting for nomination voting by industry professionals such as their network or production company and then were voted on for several weeks in a closed “industry professional only” format. Industry voting was completed February 16, 2014. The voting process will now move to the fans who will be allowed to vote online. Fans can submit votes daily until the deadline. Award officials estimate receiving over 500,000 fans votes which are triple to the votes that came in last year.
Several shows received multiple votes; the leaders were Deadliest Catch with seven nominations, MasterChef and The Voice tied with six, Shark Tank, Vanderpump Rules and RuPaul’s Drag Race all tied with 5 nominations each.
Of all of the Housewives franchises, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dominated the zip codes with four nominations. While the Jersey Shore spinoff Snooki & JWOWW received two nominations.
Final voting information will be concludes on April 5th, 2014. Results will be tallied and sealed until the envelopes are opened by the presenters at the 2nd Annual RealityWanted TV Award ceremony on April 17, 2014.
The RealityWanted TV Awards Gala is scheduled as a black tie affair at Supperclub Los Angeles. Red Carpet Arrivals are set for 7:00PM PST. The red carpet arrivals will have introductions by Nick Uhas of Big Brother with several mainstream media outlets covering and broadcasting. The awards will be hosted by Matt Iseman.
