Certified public accountant Sharon Ray has joined Scott and Company LLC, one of South Carolina’s leading accounting and consulting firms, as a Senior Accountant on the Assurance and Advisory services team.
A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Ms. Ray joins Scott and Company after more than a decade of experience in industry and public accounting. She has prior experience working as an auditor with both the South Carolina Department of Revenue and with regional public accounting firms.
She is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and with the South Carolina Association of CPAs. Ms. Ray holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and a B.B.A. in Information Systems from Campbell University, and earned her M.B.A. from Webster University.
At Scott and Company, she will work on audit engagements, risk assessments, financial statement preparation and other duties for governmental and not-for-profit clients, as well as with a broad range of closely-held businesses in industries including real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and healthcare.
