The new offering will be a unique experience for tea lovers, showcasing innovative Tea infused cocktails accompanied by a fine selection of Afternoon Tea delicacies.
Following the success of “DRY by Javier de las Muelas” at both Gran Melia Fenix and Gran Melia Victoria in Palma, Mallorca, Javier is excited to announce his most recent project at the hugely popular social house in the heart of the Spanish capital, Madrid. The famous entrepreneur and culinary trendsetter is enhancing his partnership with the luxurious and traditional Gran Melia brand, by offering guests the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive Afternoon Tea throughout the week.
Javier de las Muelas will be serving bespoke tea-infused cocktails, further demonstrating his cocktail mastery, continuing to reinvent concepts and the cocktail culture, using contemporary recipes. 45 different teas will be carefully prepared at the exact temperature. This is achieved by boiling water at three different temperatures to create the perfect brewing method individual to each tea, ensuring the finest aroma and flavour.
Alongside the cocktails, DRY Tea will offer a selection of Afternoon Tea delicacies, including sandwiches, scones, pies, cakes and macaroons for €18. Guests can enjoy Roast beef sandwiches with leek confit, followed by Almond financiers. Each tea is served with bespoke china, which can be also purchased by the guests. Everything has been carefully designed guaranteeing a seamless Afternoon Tea experience.
DRY Tea will be served daily from 5pm-7pm at Gran Melia Fenix, Madrid.
