Aspiring Minds recently released the second quarter merit list of the AMCAT toppers club. The merit list features 500 highly employable candidates in different fields from a pool of AMCAT assessed engineers, MBAs and graduates. The AMCAT Toppers Club, launched on 2nd October 2013, is an Aspiring Minds initiative to identify India’s most employable candidates hidden in unexplored pockets of the Nation. These candidates are selected on basis of AMCAT, India’s largest employability test.
Every quarter, 500 job-seekers will be identified who show exceptional language, cognitive and domain skills irrespective of their city, state, college or high school grades. Aspiring Minds will present them to corporations to do high-efficiency inclusive hiring.
Commenting on the list, Mr. Varun Aggarwal, CTO and COO, Aspiring Minds said,“The AMCAT Toppers Club shows what we already knew. Gems are spread in small cities of India and come from unknown colleges. I am excited that now these employable students have a platform and both large and small employers have come forward to give them job opportunities.”
The first quarterly merit list of AMCAT toppers were released in October 2013. Since then the toppers from the first quarter have landed themselves with coveted jobs in leading companies like Snapdeal, Sapient Nitro, Mphasis, NTT Data etc.
Candidates from tier II/III towns and cities across the length and breadth of the country have been able to secure their dream jobs via the AMCAT Toppers club. Every year more than 500,000 students take AMCAT, making it larger than management tests like CAT.
AMCAT Topper Paritosh Srivastava, shares his experience saying,“Being in AMCAT topper’s club helped me get a job in Sapient Nitro. Exams like AMCAT reduce your efforts in job search to a great extent. So give the AMCAT exam seriously and score a nice percentile in it.”
The merit list along with photographs of the candidates is available on the AMCAT website. Companies can filter the talent according to their specific needs from the list. The list will further be sent to over 550 clients and 12000 corporate recipients. A certificate of merit from AMCAT has also been provided to the candidates, which they can further use with their resume to enhance their chances in independent job search.
