Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC, between Saturday 1 and Tuesday 4 March 2014, The Photography Show is a key event in the photography calendar. Exhibitors already confirmed include Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic and FujiFilm.
At CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year, Samsung one of the world’s leading technology brands revealed their next generation smart camera the NX30. Available for a hands-on demonstration from Samsung experts at the show, its image quality is at its core. The advanced 20.3MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and 9 frames per second (FPS) shooting function captures short-lived, fast-paced moments which are bursting with sharp detail and intense colours.
Its NFC and Wi-Fi capabilities offer the next-generation of connectivity. The Tag & Go function lets users tap and share memories instantly and easily, pairing the NX30 with NFC enabled smartphones and tablets.
Paul Scott, Head of Product Marketing DI & Accessories IM Division for Samsung, says,“We are delighted to be exhibiting at the Photography Show and believe the exciting mix of interactive features and education will really appeal to photographers across the board. Samsung will be showing the professionally-inspired compact system camera NX30 as well as the expanded line of NX lenses and accessories as well as the newest members of our award winning compact line up.”
Adobe is a global leader in digital marketing and digital media solutions, and their post production packages are invaluable to modern day photography. Through the entirety of the show, Adobe will be running an array of in-studio seminars that will include a variety of classes such as Video Editing for Photographers, Colour Management and a Re-touch Masterclass.
Richard Curtis, Adobe Principal Solutions Consultant, Digital Imaging UK, says, ‘Adobe is delighted to confirm its participation in the Photography Show 2014. We are excited by Future’s plans for the event and with the Photoshop and Lightroom studios in addition to the Adobe stand, there will be a huge amount for our customers, and prospective customers, to see and learn. It will be a great opportunity for show visitors to experience Adobe’s market leading suite of products in the Creative Cloud including our latest solution updates covering 3D and 3D printing, video editing for Photographers, amazing re-touching seminars and publishing your images into Behance via the Creative Cloud.’
Jonny Sullens, Head of Events, says,“We’re delighted to have Adobe and Samsung on board. Both are world leaders in technology and their innovative nature has had a hugely positive impact on the modern photographer. Adobe’s Photoshop Studio gives a really exciting element to the show and no matter if you are a pro or an enthusiast, their stand will be a must visit.
