Haier, one of the largest home appliances and consumer electronics brands, globally, and the world's no.1 brand in major appliances, opened today (January 6, 2014) their first brand showroom in Dubai. The opening is part of their continuing effort to increase and reinforce market presence in the UAE. The new showroom, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East region, was opened in partnership with Hafet Electrical LLC, the sole distributor for Haier home appliances in the country. The new showroom will showcase the company’s diverse portfolio of products and will also feature different experience zones to provide its growing customer base the chance to touch, feel and interact with the products on display. Located on Tariq Bin Ziyad Street in Bur Dubai (near Al Maktoum Bridge, the newly opened concept store measures - 250 square meters and has been designed to showcase real life connectivity and design convergence. According to Haier senior executives, the opening of the first Haier brand shop is part of the company’s continued commitment to make Haier products accessible while at the same time address the demand for its products. The new showroom is looking to target the country’s low, mid and high income families and individuals. In fact, in celebration of the ongoing Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the UAE’s largest annual shopping event, which started January 2, 2014 and will run until February 2, 2014 across Dubai, the new Haier store is offering a 25 per cent discount on all appliances available at the store during its first week of operations (January 06, 2014 to January 13, 2014).
“We are very happy with the opening of the new Haier showroom, which is part of our strategy to make our products more accessible and also to meet the growing demand of consumers for Haier products,” said Liang Xiao, General Manager, Haier GCC. “Strategically located right in the heart of Dubai, we are confident that this showroom can address the overwhelming demand for Haier products. One of the key highlights of this new showroom is the different experience zones that we have placed around the showroom. These zones will offer consumers the opportunity to experience, interact and familiarize themselves with our latest innovative technologies before deciding on making a purchase.”
Haier’s newly opened brand showroom will feature the company’s wide range of products like refrigerators & freezers, air conditioners, televisions, washing machines & dryers, dishwashers and more. A team of well-trained sales consultants will be available on-site to assist customers and ensure that consumers are well informed on the products and their unique features. A customer service desk will also be available for customers, to address post-sale concerns and handle the service of all Haier products.

The opening of the new showroom follows Haier’s recent award of the Emirates Quality Mark, the Emirates Standardisation and Metrology Authority's (ESMA) mark of approval for products that meet standards set by the authority. The quality mark applies to Refrigerators, freezers, washing machine & dryers. Aside from the newly opened showroom, Haier branded products are also available at all major electronic power retailers, hypermarkets and dealers in UAE.
