B City Records would like to welcome one of the hardest working bands in the San Francisco Bay Area to the label, Not Sure. Not Yet!
Not Sure. Not Yet (NS.NY) is an Oakland-based garage wave band that lays down songs soaked in energy, nostalgia and booze. They’ve developed a sound that balances energetic synth pop with deep jams and candid lyrical styles. The band consists of Kenta Tomura (lead vocals, bass), Emily Barry (lead vocals, keyboard), Brendan Dreaper (drums) and Austin Cairns (guitar, beard), who are constantly experimenting with new sounds and arrangements to deliver a style that is all their own.
Not Sure. Not Yet spent 2013 building cred at Bay Area and LA venues, catching eyes and throwing winks. Following their 2013 self-released “Garage Door” EP, which received nods from music bloggers, they are set to release an EP recorded at San Francisco’s Tiny Telephone via B City Records in spring of 2014.
