Following the success of the event in 2011 and 2012, the 3rd annual conference will explore a variety of issues such as the Registry of Aruba, the Bahamas - aviation’s newest destination, maintenance activities on Aruban registered aircraft operated by a foreign airline, insurance for aircraft registered offshore, taxation issues for aircraft registered in Aruba, aircraft fractional ownership in Aruba from a financing perspective, how to repossess aircraft registered offshore, why offshore registries should aggressively embrace the issuance of AOCs, non citizenship aircraft registration with the FAA, EU VAT solutions, the Isle of Man and its aircraft registry.
The summit will be chaired by Simon R. Arends, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Tourism, Transportation & Labor, Special Projects, Ministry of Tourism, Transportation & Labor. A senior representative of the government of Aruba will open the conference with a keynote address. Expert speakers will contribute with their knowledge and experience, including Llewellyn V.
