Autologica, a specialist in dealer management systems (DMS) for automotive dealers, announced today the release of a new feature called Appointment Board, a tool that lists the day’s workshop appointments on a screen in the dealership waiting room, in real time and in a visible and orderly manner.
With this application dealers can install a TV screen of any size in the service waiting room, which announces the next vehicle to be attended through a chime sound; in addition, the customer’s name and vehicle are displayed on the screen, together with the Service Advisor that will take care of them. Customers can see how their appointment moves up on the board in real-time.
The Appointment Board for the service waiting room works with Appoint365 (service appointment scheduling tool) and Dealer Tablet (tablet application for vehicle check-in), and can integrate with the dealer management system (DMS) used by the dealership. It can be used by auto, truck, motorcycle, and heavy equipment dealers who have a service department, and by specialized service shops as well.
The application can be customized with the dealership logo, and with colors according to the brand they distribute.
