Phillips Staffing, one of South Carolina’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solution providers, has named staffing and workforce development professional Beverly Deal to head its rapidly-growing Spartanburg office as branch manager.
A native of Mildenhall, England and current resident of Campobello, South Carolina, Ms. Deal joined Phillips in 2010 as Workforce Readiness Director. She has more than two decades of experience in staff development and training, workforce development, and talent recruitment and management. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
Ms. Deal is an authorized WorkKeys Job Profiler and a Career Development Facilitator Instructor. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), she is active with the Greenville SHRM chapter, President Elect of the Spartanburg Human Resources Association, and involved with the Greenville Works WorkKeys Group. Ms. Deal is a member of the Leadership Greer Board of Regents, the Leadership Spartanburg Alumni Association, and a graduate of Leadership Cherokee and Union.
As Branch Manager, Ms. Deal will work with both new and existing clients across Spartanburg County to provide staffing and human capital solutions that lead to increased growth and success for those clients. She will focus her time working with businesses and organizations seeking talent primarily in the areas of light industrial, logistics and distribution, accounting, finance, office management and construction, while directing operations of Phillips Staffing’s growing Spartanburg office. She will continue to serve as Phillips Staffing’s company-wide Workforce Readiness Director.
