Aspiring Minds, India’s leading employability solutions firm, held the National Employability Conclave (NEC) today at The Piccadilly, Lucknow.
NEC is the first industry platform that brings together training and placement officers (TPO’s) of premier academic institutions and industry HR heads to encourage new thoughts and best practices towards increasing employability in India. The initiative endeavors to nurture fresh talent and bring in practical solutions towards better employability.
NEC 2013 - 14 would be held in 10 cities from October 11th 2013 to 7th February 2014. It began in Hyderabad on 11th October and will now be held in Lucknow, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, Vizag,, Delhi, Bhopal and Coimbatore.
This year, there is an increasing focus on technology-enabled innovations to hone young talent. For this, Aspiring Minds organized ‘Power Breakfast’ amongst top Industry leaders and chairmen of colleges to share perspectives on the national education scenario. This helped participants gain industry insights on ways to enhance employability through technology enabled innovations..

NEC 2013-14 has introduced the ‘Campus Innovation Window’ this year that provides an opportunity for all colleges to showcase their best practices in terms of training and placement:. The National Employability Conclave also marked the presence of ‘Career Guru’ Awards to felicitate visionary Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) who have ensured greater correlation between industry needs and available talent thereby, fulfilling the placement aspirations of their institutes.
