Pain Specialists of Charleston, a physician-owned interventional pain practice, finished construction on their 22,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical center in August 2013. The center is home to several tenants including Pain Specialists of Charleston, Clinical Trials of South Carolina and Grace Physical therapy. The new facility was designed by Coast Architects and constructed by Trident Construction.
“Our new facility enables us to provide advanced pain management solutions to a larger base of patients,” said Edward M. Tavel, Jr. MD founder and Medical Director of Pain Specialists of Charleston. The medical facility features three state-of-the-art procedure suites as well as a dedicated research center, Clinical Trials of South Carolina.
“As a private practice, we believe safe, quality pain care should be available to all Lowcountry residents,” said Chief Operating Officer Rick Grooms. “Our new facility as well as the addition of a new physician, Walter Schuyler MD, allows us to better serve the needs of our community.”
