The new owner Peter Chanda, a generous host, academician and a community leader from Boston, MA will continue to provide quality dining experience for residents and tourists. Peter also partnered with the Rochester Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International in an effort to revitalize the local economy. Eddie Sargent will remain as a partner and an executive chef. Steven Thorton, a longtime Chef’s Table cook will continue to prepare favorite dishes for patrons. “We believe that families should be together on Sundays.” said Chanda, who has added lunch and Sunday brunch to his menu. Chanda, who previously worked as a director of the Harvard School of Public Health and successfully ran scholarbuddy.com and bostoneliteprep.com, made the move to make a difference in healthy dining. Chef’s Kitchen (chefskitchenrochester.com) would like to welcome veteran cooks Eric Wilburn and John Pennell for joining the award winning team. “I am so excited to work with Eddie Sargent and other talented staff,” said Chanda.
The restaurant continues to serve the same great all-American three-course menu, including pastas, seafood, chicken, duck, steak, pork and desserts. From 5 to 9 pm., complimentary soup and salad are served with every entrée, and desserts are free with the purchase of two or more entrees on Mondays. Every night there are complimentary snacks served from 5 to 7 pm. in the bar.
Restaurant hours are 11 am. to 2 pm. Tuesday through Friday, and 5 pm. to close Tuesday through Sunday. Sunday brunch is served 10 am. to 2 pm.
