MAN again has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices by RobecoSAM, the sustainability rating agency, thus reaching one of MAN’s key objectives for 2013 in this field. Following its initial qualification for the prestigious sustainability rating in 2012, MAN further improved its results this year and scored 83 out of 100 points (2012: 78). MAN continues to be the only German corporation in the machinery and electrical equipment industry that is listed in the above-mentioned indices and MAN has managed to reduce the difference between the number of points it achieved and the number of points achieved by the industry leader. In this year’s rating, MAN improved specifically in the fields of environmental management, water risks and labor safety.
