But, holding to good business practices and putting my designs and myself out there, my business is becoming more amazing every day!”
That’s the spirit with which Ms. Juntti has approached When every aspect of her life, with hope and belief, but also a great, old-fashioned work-ethic and a willingness to grow both personally and professionally.
“When I filed for my business license back in 2010, it was just because, even though I was working full-time running a local Arts Education program, I was making and wearing jewelry that I made for myself. I got so many requests and orders for my designs that I had to get a tax id and start buying my supplies wholesale!” said Ms. Juntti.
Being a Single Mother gives Ms. Juntti an extra drive for success,“I want my daughter to see me succeed as a woman in business- I want to her to see that hard work really can pay off.” The business is even named after her daughter, Rory; “It’s a mash-up of her name, nickname ‘The Roo, ’ and her birthday, February 2nd.”
Earning a Certification in Small Business Development and having over ten years of experience in the Fashion and Jewelry Industry as a Designer, Wholesale distributer and in Retail Sales, Mindy Juntti is certainly ready for the unique challenges of this business.
