A7Soft is proud to announce the release of ExamXML 5.42. The newest version of the ExamXML Pro gives users a series of important innovations.

It fully supports 64-bit operating systems up to Windows 8 (64-bit versions require 64-bit Windows operating system).
Previous 32-bit versions of ExamXML is running up against a built-in memory limitation of 2 GB, this means XML files larger than 200 MB cannot be opened at all. A 64-bit application is not subject to the same memory limitation.
In practice, the maximum size XML file an individual user of a 64-bit application will be able to process is limited only by the amount of installed physical memory.
This allows ExamXML Pro to exploit the increased potentially addressable memory provided by 64-bit PCs resulting in faster comparing XML files.

Windows 64-bit support was available in the previous releases of ExamXML Pro, but only with the 32-bit compatibility mode, not the full 64-bit native mode.

64-bit support establishes another level of usability in ExamXML.

ExamXML Pro additionally includes command line utilities MDCXML and FolderCMP, Visual tool for comparing directory hierarchies ExamDir, and API for using in customer applications.
