In the first phase, Ciber will deploy the financial core and, in the near future, further modules, such as projects, purchasing, CRM and competence management will be implemented. During this process, a number of existing environments also will be phased out. The goal of the new ERP system is to increase operational visibility, attain greater insight into company processes and enhance efficiency.

Peterson provides integrated logistic services for diverse oil supply companies and also carries out sector-specific technical inspections. The company is active worldwide.

To facilitate a correct implementation and a smooth transition for end-users, Ciber will leverage substantial experience with Dynamics AX and use a combination of Prince2, Microsoft Sure Step and Agile development methodologies. Ciber also offers considerable experience within the shipping sector, as well as knowledge of the systems used and processes in place. Peterson chose Ciber due to the consulting company’s Dynamics AX expertise, the approach suggested for the project and proven experience within the industry.
