Webteb.com, the leading health portal in Arabic, announced today that Laith Momani joined the company’s executive team as its Chief Commercial Officer, based in Amman. In this role, Mr. Momani will be responsible for WebTeb’s monetization, accelerating revenue growth.

Prior to joining WebTeb, Mr. Momani was with Yahoo!, where he was Heading Yahoo!’s commercial presence in Jordan for three years that carried the establishment of Yahoo!’s business in Jordan. Prior to Yahoo!, he served as Head of Digital at Wunderman Amman. He has a degree in Internet Computing with Business Minor from HULT International Business School.
The news comes on the heels of WebTeb.com becoming, according to the Alexa ranking, the number one health site in Arabic, following the successful launch of TebStyle, a health, diet and lifestyle section of the site.
