P&L Foods, Inc./Stan’s Coffee Service, founded in 1955 and based in Lehigh Acres, Florida, began as a family business providing locally roasted coffee and service equipment to a variety of businesses across Southern Florida. As the business grew, its customers requested a greater variety of products. Thus began the Company’s transition into a foodservice wholesaler and its membership in UniPro Foodservice, Inc. With a collective sales volume of over $60 billion, UniPro Foodservice, Inc. is the largest foodservice distribution cooperative in the United States. The company will retain its employees and continue its operations from its current facilities.
