The game is set in 18th century France where the events of the past stir into life again. The main character Jacque is knocked down in a Parisian street. After he regains his consciousness, Jacque finds a strange mark in the shape of a cross on his arm and starts his investigation. Loads of quests and secrets, hiding places and lost treasure, love and treachery all these things the player can enjoy in the game.
