Ivette Cueva with Seabreeze Management Company, a leader in providing professional community association services across Southern Calif., received a coveted Vision Award at the 22nd annual California Association of Community Managers (CACM) Vision Awards ceremony on July 25 in Anaheim.
The prestigious award recognizes remarkable property management professionals who have displayed outstanding achievements in their industry. Cueva was one of only 12 community association professionals in the state to win an award.
Cueva, designated a Certified Community Association Manager by CACM, is an on-site property manager for Seabluffe Village Community Association in Leucadia. She received the “Physical Management: Level 1” award for successfully managing and facilitating a two-year, $7 million re-siding project for the community, which previously suffered from dry rot and termite damaged siding. With 255 homes, it was the largest undertaking in the community’s history.
“In addition to managing months of construction, Ivette’s tireless efforts to keep homeowners continually informed alleviated any stress and kept residents at ease throughout the long construction process,” said William Crawford, Seabluffe Homeowners Association (HOA) Board President. “Her dedication, expertise and professionalism led to the success of this project.”
The project was divided into six phases, each with similar challenges. Amid the dust, dirt, noise and construction, Cueva remained in constant communication with the homeowners during the entire process. She held weekly meetings, communicated important notices via e-mail blasts and created a monthly newsletter and website specifically designed to keep homeowners informed of the construction schedule and other important news. The Vision Award acknowledges Cueva for her consistency and active involvement throughout the renovation.

Seabluffe Village, a coastal gem located in the heart of Leucadia, is a luxurious gated community boasting lush amenities. It hosts 50 acres of oceanfront property and beautifully landscaped grounds with nearly 1,000 trees. Each building ranges from two- to four-units, with none above or below. Only five buildings occupy each acre of land. The community represents more than 50 owners with the average price of each unit at more than $1 million.
