Cogitate Inc. today announced the release of Version 7000 for its Pro Fund Accounting software suite. Cogitate’s development team has made major changes to all previous versions of Pro Fund Accounting so that it will work properly with Windows 8, touch screen tablets, and beyond.

“While we were learning the new way of doing things, we added in a few extras,” remarked George Loescher, President. “Many things have changed in this new release. The output file handling things like where the direct deposit file is located or where the state trunkline file is placed has been completely reworked to add flexibility to the fund accounting software.”

Another big change is the new Crystal Reports printing system that allows printing reports on the latest hardware. Other changes include a new installation process, and a program update monitoring system that automatically checks for updates without user intervention. This release also adds support for photos of equipment, inventory, and personnel.

The Pro Fund Accounting software (profundaccounting.com) has been updated to operate correctly on multiple monitor styles. A program has been added that allows the user to export paystubs and email them to their employees. And last, but not least, they combined their voter registration software into the PFA Municipal suite.
