AvePoint, the leader in governance, compliance, and management solutions for social enterprise collaboration platforms, today announced the general availability of DocAve Online Service Pack 1, its cloud software platform for organizations utilizing Office 365.
DocAve Online now features Exchange Online backup and recovery, which extends the product’s powerful granular backup to critical data living in Exchange Online such as calendars, contacts, emails, tasks and archived Microsoft Lync conversations. This vital data will be backed up to Azure, Amazon (S3), Rackspace, or any other storage location accessible over Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). The ability to granularly restore content is also available, allowing organizations to restore an employee’s contacts or calendar items without accessing their inbox.

Other key features include simplified replication and synchronization of content; customizable scheduling; and the ability to copy, move, migrate and restructure SharePoint sites, content, and configurations within or across SharePoint sites while preserving all associated permissions and metadata. Future versions coming later in 2013 will include AvePoint’s robust reporting solution, DocAve Report Center.
