Voting Now Open at t3.com/awards
The T3 Gadget Awards recognise and honours the gadgets, software and personalities who have intrigued, inspired and wowed the world over the past 12 months. As headline sponsors, Ford SYNC truly represent this ethos with its innovative and groundbreaking car technology.
Samsung and Apple lead the way with nine nominations each, coming head-to-head in four categories, including Tech Brand of the Year and the coveted Smartphone of the Year. Sony is nominated in eight categories with its Bravia TV’s and Xperia Tablet performing strongly.
T3 Editor, Luke Peters, says: “With a hand-picked panel of expert judges and T3’s tech-savvy readers deciding the finalists, the T3 Gadget Awards truly recognise the greats in the technology world. It’s a fantastically varied shortlist with gaming and fitness products being stand-out trends. I’m particularly excited about what the judges and readers deem the Tech Moment of the Year and am fascinated to see what gadget-packed motor wins Car of the Year. In short, this year’s T3 Gadget Awards will be the most hotly contested we’ve ever seen.”
Spread over 17 categories, voting is now open for the public to help decide which devices, apps and brands will reign supreme at the star-studded ceremony.
Winners will be decided by reader votes and a panel of expert industry judges, and will be announced at the T3 Gadget Awards 2013 final at Old Billingsgate in London on October 3rd.
