Mr. Gernot Czerny, Vice President of ANDRITZ Biax, welcomed 170 participants from over 70 companies. Experts from ANDRITZ Biax provided information on the latest developments to improve production processes, operation, energy consumption, and overall efficiency of production lines for biaxially oriented plastic films. Another topic presented was MESIM (Mechanical Simultaneous Stretching System) the ANDRITZ Biax patented stretching technology for special films as well as the high-speed chain track system with newly developed, patented clips.

During a tour of the workshop and office premises with a total area of 8,000 m2, the participants could witness the high-end quality of the main components in a high-speed BOPP film production line.
