The public is invited to join the Independent Grape Growers of the Paso Robles Area (IGGPRA) for their seminar regarding water issues, labor laws, and other laws and regulations related to wine grape production on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 9:00am to 10:45 am at Niner Wine Estates, located at 2400 CA Hwy 46 in Paso Robles, Calif.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from primary Laura Hebert from the SLO County Agriculture Department on the newest agriculture laws and regulations as well as vertebrate pest control. Secondary speakers include Barry Kinman and Marilyn Curry from Kinman and Curry Attorneys at Law serving SLO County for over 20 Years to discuss employer/employee relations and labor laws. The last speaker will be Jerry Reaugh from Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance (PRWCA) about the formation of a Paso Robles Water District and what this means for the growers, residents and wineries of this area.
The seminar is FREE for IGGPRA members and $20 for non-members, coffee and donuts will be provided and 1.0 hour of continuing education credit has been requested.
